Heritage-Cultural Retention-Qipao is an online exhibition developed with an aim to share the history of qipao and to raise people awareness in preserving and learning the qipao tradition and skills, allowing the traditional qipao skills to sustain for a longer period of time.

The online exhibition reveals the cultural importance of qipao and the danger of extinction, together with the historical evolution of qipao style. Some of the exhibition content is drawn from a number of qipao tailors' perspectives to explore the beauty of qipao and qipao-making skills as well as the values a qipao tailor attach to qipao.
